Tasting Notes

Indulge in the delicate flavors of jasmine, clove, lychee, mango, and tea rose, perfectly balanced with a light body and lively acidity.

Origin Notes:

The Sidama region is home to a population of nearly 8 million, comprised of unique cultures and traditions. Its fertile highlands soar to altitudes of 2,200masl, resulting in a slow maturation process for the coffee cherries, ultimately creating the complex flavors and aromas that are characteristic of Sidama coffee. Sourced from Bensa woreda (district), this Grade 2 natural processed coffee from the Sidama region boasts a vibrant acidity and a burst of fruity notes, particularly lychee and mango, with hints of jasmine and a subtle spice of clove.

Although often mistakenly referred to as "Sidamo," this name dates back to the 1880s and does not accurately represent the area. In the process of natural processing, only the ripest cherries are selected and dried whole on raised beds in the sun for a period of two to three weeks. In Ethiopia, coffee quality is graded based on a combination of physical and cup qualities, including altitude
