This Grade 1 Organic Certified Arabica coffee comes from the Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm in Ethiopia's Oromia Region, an endeavor launched in 2012 with the intent to cultivate superior coffee in a socially and ecologically conscious manner.

Owned by the Esmael family, the 240-hectare estate is nestled in fertile sandy clay loam beneath a blanket of natural forest. Local villages collect the coffee cherries between October and February, with the low-density beans separated for a lower grade. High-grade beans are dried on raised beds for 12-20 days, their quality ensured with careful hand-turning and visual inspections. An ambition of excellence, carefully crafted with respect for both man and nature.
