Origin Notes:
The members of ASOBOMBO are passionate about bringing about transformation in Huila's coffee landscape. Nearly half of the 170 members are female, and they work together with traditional values and modern applications in agriculture to preserve their property. Their smallholder farms are nestled in the south of Huila at altitudes from 1600 to 2000 meters, around the majestic Salto de Bordones waterfall.
The association is led by a five-member team that looks into representation, organization, and quality control. ASOBOMBO is devoted to backing their producers' independence and autonomy, offering counsel in agronomy and coffee processing processes. The farmers are wholly devoted to organic methods to obtain high-value coffee and sustain their farms.
Thanks to certifications like USDA Organic, the participants reap 35% more profits from their raw coffee. This washed organic Colombia green coffee is brought in alliance with Lohas Beans, which involves varieties of Caturra, Tabi, Pink Bourbon, and Geisha.
